We specialise in full elevation repointing and heritage masonry works to traditional stone buildings, farmhouses, and rural properties. Our work focuses on planned, multi-week conservation projects using lime putty and Natural Hydraulic Lime (NHL) mortars. We do not undertake small repointing jobs, brick repointing, or cosmetic patch repairs.
Our approach is assessment-led and fabric-focused, with careful consideration given to mortar compatibility, exposure, and long-term performance. We work with traditional lime putty and Natural Hydraulic Lime (NHL) mortars, including slaking and preparation where appropriate, and select sands to suit the existing historic fabric. Projects are programmed properly and delivered at a measured pace to ensure durable, breathable repairs to heritage and farmhouse stone buildings.
